A safe space to open up about grief and loss for IU Indianapolis students

IU Indianapolis offers many mental health resources and a few group therapy options, but there is no resource on campus that allows grieving students to find a community that relates to them. Having friends that understand the sometimes debilitating pain of loss can ease the difficulty of grieving and feeling alone. This marketing plan proposes grief counselling support groups and other grief counselling resources that empower students as they navigate loss. Some of the main components of this plan involve hosting events, tabling sessions, and eight-week cycles of grief support groups that give grieving students a network of support to cope with their loss.
