Background
Here, you'll find both the mission statement and a situational analysis of the subject of this marketing plan.
The objective of this service is to promote the emotional and mental wellbeing of IU Indianapolis students. Through this service, students will be given the necessary tools to manage their grief and come to terms with the loss of a loved one. They will also find a community of students and staff that can not only relate to them, but provide a safe space to engage in the difficult conversations that often arise with grief.
The marketing plan for this service required a better understanding of students' awareness of Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS), how many students struggle with loss and mental health, and if there would be interest in grief counselling resources that could be offered on campus. In order to assess these components, a survey was developed and distributed to get a preliminary idea of what the statistics would look like. After collecting the results, the data was analyzed and broken down to better understand the responses.
